if you are running them front and rear, get something like the alpine ktp-445u and run them off of that, if you are still not satisfied with that then i would sell the 651's (coaxial) and step it up to 6501's (component) i mounted the rear tweeter to the c pillar panel by the passenger rear seats, they have more than enough bass to keep me happy. the difference between a coaxial and a component is that the crossover filters and sends the right frequencies to each driver instead of just relying on what the driver can reproduce, this allows for better sound quality at higher volume levels.

That's a good option. I still have stock components in the front, but I'm thinking I'm going to get the Polk components to match and see how that sounds. If I need more, I think I would rather get a sub before fabbing components into the back.

yea, i haven't been there in 4 years so im overdue for a vacation haha, i would definitely go with the polk db6501's up front, they will give you great sound and bass with no need for a sub, if you wait til i get down there i'll do a demo for you and you can see how you like the sound before spending money.

I wouldn't mind that! Let me know when you're looking to come around!!

Just a heads up they're still rebuilding over there! Not quite what it was 4 years ago!

yea i was down in perth amboy shortly after sandy and we had a few 150' storage tanks float off of their foundations, my aunt has a house in seaside and i've seen a lot of pictures, im kind of hoping that the fact that they are rebuilding keeps the shore somewhat quiet, i got into quite a bit of trouble last time i was down there lol.
