Somehow the mirror glass fell off on my Driver's Power/Heated mirror. Luckily the cables caught the mirror before it came completely off. Now I can't seem to get it back on again. Any ideas on how to re-attach? It doesn't seem to be broken in any way...

Go to a autobody suppy store(or a bodyshop/windshield replacement shop) and get some windshield urathane(what they use to glue windshields in),apply to the back of the mirror and place on the mirror mount/base then wrap some masking tape around it to hold it there. If possible place in the hot sun(pretty hard now) or leave the tape on for a few days, regular urathane will cure in about 5-6 hours sitting in 90 degree direct sunlight.Used to do this all the time in the bodyshop, that stuff is awesome, messy though.

Since he has heated mirrors if just the glass came off the base it would not fall all the way off due to the wires going to the heat coils in the glass,if it came apart with the base attached the only wires still attached would be the heated mirror coil wires, the motor plate is bolted to the mirror housing. It is pretty common for just the glass to seperate from the base.
