The following directions were provided previously on this forum and also appear exactly the same in the owners manual:

"I snagged these instructions off another forum, but here you go.

The following steps must occur within the first 60 seconds of the ignition switch being turned to the ON or START position.

1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position, and buckle the driver's seat belt.

2. Turn the ignition key to the ACCESSORY / RUN position (engine does not need to be running), and wait for the Seat Belt Warning Light to turn off.

3. Within 60 seconds of starting the vehicle, unbuckle and then re-buckle the driver's seat belt at least 3 times within 10 seconds, ending with the seat belt buckled.

4. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position. A single chime will sound to signify that you have successfully completed the programming."

I have tried this procedure about 20 times without success. ('05 limited)

Some questions arise. Step 3 mentions a 60 second time limit AFTER starting the engine but the directions do not tell one WHEN to start the engine!

I get the single chime when I complete step 4 but the chime is still there.

Obviously, I am doing something wrong as others have completed this procedure with success.

HELP!!! (I feel so stupid!) ](*,)

If I rememebr correctly my owners manual said 3 or more times, I found that it had to be exactly 3 times, more did not work and I did not start the vehicle, after geting a ticket for no seat belt I reactivated the ding ding
