Like Luke said. I bought a foam air filter for a lawnmower and cut it to fit. Cheap and easy.

Make a trip to advance, auto zone, orielly, napa, - whatever - and look for crankcase breather elements. Years back they were all available. Now - we fabricate somehting if the old one becomes saturated. I have used a fish aquarium filter pad (cut up to make many) , hvac home furnace filter, a scrub-daddy guy, etc. There are also threads around here about making a ‘catch can’ and putting it down low in the frame.

Helpful hint - the forum search engine sux. I use ‘google site:jeepkj.com catch can’. And go at it that way.

Ok.....so its not just me....I had to McGyver a lawn mower filter and thought I was the only one...why is it that something as important as that filter not be found in parts stores. I say important for this reason....my partner had an oil change done at one of those quick oil change shops and she had the air filter replaced. They took out Sponge Bob and never replaced it . Well yesterday I was going over things...checked the air filter...it is absolutely covered in an oil film. Not good in my books. So now when I go get another air filter at NAPA I have to stop in at Canadian Tire to pick up a Briggs & Stratton air filter . Which brings me to another *****....I wanted to check the PCV valve and don't you know it ...I cant get the damn thing out because of everything thats in the way...whats up with that....man....I like Jeeps but why do they not make them user friendly....lmao
