MT tires (E) daily driving PSI?

not really sure how to calculate this one.
So once you step out to an aftermarket tire like a MT with a higher load range (E) - you throw away the recommend 35 psi door sticker recommendations right ?

I’m running the maxxis razr m/t 265/75/16 and it’s “up to 80psi”
Since I’m not towing anything , is 35 ok?

The wrangler forums say they run 20-28psi on mud tires for daily driving.

I plan on taking a 100 mile trip to stay over night at some trails and I don’t want to waste my tires on the pavement if I’m set too low or high

I run my kevlars with good thick sidewalls, at 38 psi on road and air them down to 25 for a more comfortable ride off road.

Mine likes 34 psi with Goodrich all terrain KO light truck tires. One more psi makes me feel every pebble. More air for towing or loads.

Never ran more than 34, the 265-75-16 Duratracs for example worn straight across and had close to 90,000 miles on them when I sold them
The 265-70-16 Wildpeaks are running good at 35

I’m going to add some air this morning and get them into the low 30s. See how it feels.
Also interested to see what my chalk mark looks like since my first reading after having these installed was 22-25 psi. Wow...

I am running 245/75R16 Cooper STT pro's on 36psi after making the calculations according to:

and it works fine!
Approx 20-25psi for off-road but this varies according to the terrain...

34 PSI here too and my Duratracs just rolled over 90,000 miles and still have ~40% tread depth. I had 5 in rotation every 3,000-6,000 miles for 6 years. One got destroyed, now I’m down to 4 and they’re still going!

I seriously can’t understand how a a single tire can last 90k. Even timewise. After 4 years the dry rotting starts.
We swap our tires every 2 years or when they get around half worn. We sell them used to recoup a little and use the cooper rebate $100 debit card towards 4 more.
