well.. first i would suggest buying a frankenlift from rocklizardfabrications.com
then i would buy an Aussie Locker from offroadlockers.com
then i would add tires, skids, rock rails

and you would have a very very very offroadable and very very nice looking jeep :D

Well my front window tint is 35% I used to have 20% but kinda dark at night to see out and park and what not. Well today I went to advanced auto parts and bought spray paint for my tires so hopefully I can get that done soon but I dont have a jack lol. I was wondering where in NY close to yonkers or nassau county in long island I can get it done at instead if anyone knows? But yeah little by little it'll come

Well the funny thing is I just painted my spare tire today and put it back on my rack on the trunk I gotta take a picture of it and post it up it looks really good. Its a gloss black kinda put some of it on the tire was thinking of making it a permanent tire shine lol. But I'm probably gonna do the rest of the tires next week idk we'll see lol

Be sure to post a pic whenever you get a chance. I'd really like to see how it turned out. I might just paint my stock wheels as well!

OME HD's front & back and Rancho shocks on all four corners. Do it yourself and save some money.

First, where are you located and do you plan on doing any "serious" off roading, or will your mods be mainly for looks? The reason I ask is... if you are going to go off road on moderate rated trails, a stock height Liberty with skids, good A/T tires and an experience driver is all you really need. A lift and larger tires would be nice, but not needed.

Now if you want to get serious here's a list:

- a 2.5 Frankenlift
- aggressive tires (A/T or MTR)
- better looking wheels
- full skids
- off road lights
- Optima yellow top
- ARB bumper
- Warn winch with all the recovery gear
- roof rack
- a couple of fire bottles
- CB radio
- a good set of tools

...and the list goes on. If it's a city Jeep, nice wheels and tires is as far as i would go.

Sorry, not a fan of black wheels.

I think the black looks great! I have a silver KJ too. What paint did you use and did you do any prep work, like rough them up and primer?

I used Krylon gloss black and no but I recommend you sand it down the only reason I didnt sand down cause I didnt have any scratches or curb rash but if you do then sand it down I used like 3 coats and each tire then I put a coat of clearcoat and top of it. I started it around 2 o clock and finished around 4:30 so 2.5 hours wasn't that bad did it in front of my house

Sounds good yeah its definitely worth doing it the outcome is really good as you can see :) wouldnt change it for anything the weather here was a little chilly my nose was running the whole time I was doing it but its w.e its a one time thing to do and it didnt take too long I put my spare on for the last two tires so I can do it faster and get it done with quicker I gotta take better pictures with a picture camera and not my phone.

Not the mountains.
I've never been a fan of black wheels, even on black cars. Just reminds me too much of seeing the front wheels on cars that are so dirty from brake dust. Otherwise though your Jeep is looking nice. I have the same year and model.

Yeah I loved the way it came out I got a few more things in mind to do black also like the chrome panel on the side doors and maybe the grill but idk yet about the grill we'll see and the gas cap might go black too who knows but thanks for the comments just wanted to know what people thought of how the rims came out but I really like how it makes a big difference I think it makes my car look lower too lol
