That's super sweet. Love the color. Can't wait to start working on my new JK!

Yeah, he mentioned it and also suggested 4.88 gears... but you have to remember he's in the business of selling parts, fixing and building Jeeps. After telling him that I wasn't a ********* rock crawler like he is, he agreed I didn't need the 4.88's and lockers. So... no real need to spend the extra $$$ for the moderate to slightly difficult rated trails I run. When the going does get rough... you would be surprised that going slow with the proper gearing, and picking the right lines more often than not will get you up and over.
Thanks for the comments on my Jeep!!
AZKJ...
Enough about me here....got a question for ya concerning you wanting a C02 tank, I take it that's for airing down so you can refill once off the trail.....is that a better way to go than a 12 volt air pump.....?
I don't mean to bust your bubble, but I've done very well without lockers in both my TJ and JK. I run easy to slightly difficult trails with some pretty good hill climbs and rock gardens. Picking the right lines and with the proper gearing, I do just fine thank you. Driver skill has a lot to do with what you can do with your Jeep, lockers or not. Now if I was into serious rock crawling, which I have no interest in, then I could justify the cost of lockers.HAHA
while the Jeep looks good
the comment about not needing lockers was spoken just like some one who has never had them
if you are running any thing more than a fire road you need lockers
even more so I see you want a Power tank
this means you are airing down ,you need lockers
at least 1 in the rear
LOL... unless you missed it, or you're a parrot, your comment has already been voiced above in post #25. I answered that I have no need for lockers. I'll match my rig and skills with a Rubicon set up with the same lift and tires as my X with 4.56 gears any day. I may not win every challenge against an e-locked Rubi, but I'll be a very close second at way less the cost the Rubi driver paid for his ride....Sounds like a response from somebody that's never wheeled a locked rig.
LOL... so you are paying attention!! My mistake, post #22.That wasn't post 25
Pay attention to how many tires you have aired up and that's not really a big issue. If you suspect you're getting low, weigh it and/or get it refilled....the 12V air pump will never run dry a CO2 tank will
Yes. it takes longer to air up with a 12v, right at 4 min going from 16 to 34 psi on my 33's....take for ever to air up a tire or can not seat a bead
