Is this normal for a jeep?

When I'm idling it feels like my jeep shakes/trembles a bit--it does't stay still! I'm flattering it by saying it's all that pent up energy but I think something is up.

Is this normal or something is up?

Yes That's normal for the KJ. So It's nothing to worry about. After a while you will not even notice it.

Speaking of the shaking/trembling, I was in a Audi A4 today. It has a 4 cylinder engine and that thing shook the car 10 times worse then what the KJ does.

I actually like that the KJ doesn't give you a sedan-type ride. I like to feel the road. If I wanted a totally smooth ride I would have bought a volvo station wagon (blarg)

I was in the Audi today because it was my supervisors and We where going out to lunch. Personally I think the KJ has a better ride over all than his Audi and I payed 1/2 the price. :D

How hard is the vibration? I don't really get that too much, but the only other vehicle I have experience driving is a Cummins Turbo Diesel, so I may be slightly biased.

Mine doesnt vibrate enough. I drove a 94 ZJ with a 4.0 for about a year and that thing shakes. I got use to it after awhile and kinda like it, it gives it a 'truck' feel.
