So, here's the result of the OME 926/947 along with a 3/8" top plate spacer and 1 extra rear isolator. I am running 235/75's. Keep in mind on the before pics, I had a little lift - Rusty's 3/4" spacer (about 1.5" lift) and (2) extra rear isolators (so 1" lift).

The KJ has about 150 miles on the suspension as of the lifted pics. Also, I didn't try to take "flattering" pics where I'd stoop low to make it look taller. This is just 5'8" me taking pics and trying to make them as consistent before and after as possible. :)

Thanks!

I removed the front poly spacer and one of the upper isolators from the rear.

I won't need them - if I can get the damn things off the stock shocks, I am sure we can work something out :D

Yeah, they are a tight fit being on there for 40k miles.

Not sure to be honest - let me yank those suckers off and figure out what shipping is.

No worries, you have first dibs on them.

Thanks guys.

To be honest, it's not like an instant "love it" setup. It's improved for sure, but sometimes it almost seems too springy - the suspension compresses a lot more than the stock one, and I almost feel a little more disconnected from the road.

It definitely leans less and handles better, but it doesn't have that same (teeth jarring) road response it had when stock. I also don't feel every little crack in the road anymore - just the bigger ones (which are plentiful in MI)

I am sure after a few more days and an alignment I won't even notice it anymore.

On the speed bumps in the garage at work the ass end always felt like it wanted to kick out - it was really harsh at anything more than a really slow crawl. I took them at slow speed today, and it stayed nice and true :)

Looks good Kevin! :)

Now that you are running without the poly spacer, you actually feel the suspension working as it should, not pre-loaded with the spacers.
