well i finally got my real world jeep adventure. Last week in buffalo we got hit with 2 1/2 feet of snow in about 2 hours knocking down trees everywhere and taking powerlines with it. The following morning i packed up me and my gf and my dog and headed over to my parents house which is about 4 miles away from mine and it took me two hours to get there i mean a crazy two hours running over trees powerlines cable lines and trying to mush threw all that snow was unbelevebel but the kj pulled threw and made it there i finally got stuck on my parents street after getting hung up on a tree and snow that was covering it because my jeep basically bottomed out. i just got power back today and my internet but i lost everything in my basement hotwater tank furnace washer dryer and all my stored belonging due to 4 1/2 feet of water in my basement becasue i dident have power and my sump pump dident work. I finally got a generator yesterday and a pool pump and with the sump pump and pool pump it took six hours to pump out. Well just thought i would post this up here im cold due to no heat in my house and bored but fema delcared it a natural destator and hopfully i can get reinburst my $800 i sheled out for the generator

Lol, yea, lift, tires, and a locker or LS would make it a heck of alot better in the snow. Some people are not sure how to drive with a locker though.. 8-[

Sorry about the basement.. You should of had a generator for it already.. Why did it fill up so fast anyways? Does the pump pump that much water out of it? Or did the snow melt REALLY fast and fill it up?

Ohh, PICS!!

haha yea the house is an old house the basement is like no lie 70 years old so it has alot of cracks in it and not alot of drain tile around it and with the power being off for 3 days the sump pump dident work and yea the snow melted by noon the next morning.. as far as lifts and tires i am going to need to buy new tires by next summer defontly wanna go with something aggressive and as far as a lift im still reading about them all online... because i drive my jeep as my daily driver everyday i want something that is going to hold up like oem i keep reading about people having problems with shocks etc etc so if i could just stuff a bigger pair of tires underthere i would go with that setup i dont really take the jeep offroadin exept when i go out to my dads property and just bomb around in the mud... any suggestions would help thanks guys

If you do not believe you need a lift, just go with some 245/70/16 tires.. wont hurt performace much and shouldnt rub very much.. Might even do a small clevis lift to help bring the front up some..
