On page 1047 of "What did you do to your Jeep today" thread, another member noticed a difference in the design between the crown brand intermediate shafts.
Replaced the front diff seals, removed the needle bearing on the passenger side and ditched the moog end links for Napa brand.
Unreal that this whole time my constant clunking was that bearing. The replacement intermediate shaft had no wear on it nor did the surface where it rides on the bearing (finger nail test)
Installed the new crown shaft anyways. I did notice the part of the shaft from the clip to the end is longer on the new one. Both crown brands.
