NEED A INNER TIE ROD FOR A 2006 LIBERTY ,HELP

DOES ANYBODY KNOW OF ANY REPLACEMENT INNER TIE ROD FOR MY 2006 LIBERTY SPORT 3.7 , THE DEALER DOESN'T SELL THE PART SEPERATLY AND IS ONLY SOLD WITH THE RACK . I CALLED AROUND AND NOBODY SEAMS TO HAVE ONE . NAPA AUTOPARTS HAD A 05 AND I WAS HOPING IT WAS THE SAME BUT IT WASN'T .
I THINK IT'S CRAZY THAT THE PART CAN BE REMOVED BUT CAN'T BE PURCHASED . (dunno)

I am not trying to be a smartass but shouldn't the dealer replace the whole front end if necessary under the warranty?

NO IT NOT A WARRANTY ISSUE THIS TRUCK WAS HIT AND THE TIE ROD BENT AND BROKE

This is just for a Jeep liberty in general. I don't believe they have changed anything in the steering through the years, i could be wrong though. Did you do a physical side by side comparison? Alot of times it takes manufacturers a little time to update their data bases with the latest model years.

different for 06

i compared the 05 & 06 side by side and there not the same what so ever . The threaded area is smaller on one of them . I'm a mechanic , all i need is to find a replacement , used or new for a 2wd 06 (inner tie rod )
