Hi
My car is Jeep Liberty 2010

I was washing the car and water leaked from the top of the front window and got some water on my gear shifter and 4wd shifter ( not to much water)
I realized before I turn the car on.
so i took the console out and cleaned the shifter with air blow gun and fabric until I didn’t see a water
Is that enough or there’s something I should do to make sure nothing happens

I've spilled a coffee down into shifter and removed console. No issues after using compressed air.
You should be fine.

I faced the same situation one time and I used a hair dryer to dry the shifter thoroughly. It worked.
