I have a stock blue 2002 Kj and I want to upgrade the suspension to give it a lift, you know shocks and coils and some upgraded suspension parts. I want to convert mine into the red one without doing a bunch of fabrication and modifying, I dont mind a little but I can't hardly find anything aftermarket for a 2002. I'm not wanting to cgange out axels and all that. I want a good winch bumper with a winch. The coil overs and Tires. Can someone please help me find the right parts that will not break the bank. I'm only going out a few times a year. Thanks everyone.

Recent suspension thread with info give or take some ~$1000 new parts for a quality lift

ARB still makes a winch bumper, ~$1300-$1500+ new

Wheels and tires new, ~$1000-whatever you're willing to spend lol
If you want to go taller with the tires, it will be a good idea to regear, ~$1,000+ just in parts if you go new

You'll need some fab skills and time, or $$$ for what you want done.

All my prices are quick ballparks, but giving you an idea. "Breaking the bank" means different for all.

If lifting do it right right off the bat and go OME 927/948 coils and bilstein shocks etc
all listed many times on here or ask again
There goes another 900 or so depending

AND NO MATTER what kind of 4x4 you own, it costs money to do it right the first time

the red one LOL
OK but that has a suspension system that is no longer produced , take mine here on my avatar 4.5 inches of lift, it alone retailed for over 2700 dollars
The front bumper on that red one was one I owned retail was over 900( no longer made and that was back in 2014 or so )
rear aftermarket bumper on my black one with dual swing out etc was over 1600 retail

Start off slow , do lift, then say later a set of Moabs off of a 03 to 06 Wrangler with 245 75 16s will drop power and mileage some but liveable
and keep building
Heck mine in the picture, bought it new , had first OME lift on it before I had it 4 months, plus an ARB, then kept building it for the next 12 or so years, changing etc
