Sears Platinum P-1 = Odyssey 34-PC1500.

Except the Sears version is only around $220 - same price as an Optima.

Lancer, give that 1500 a few days to get juiced up by the alternator - you'll be amazed how fast it spins that diesel over!!

Yep - dual terminal (only kind they had over here) photo will follow:)

The place I bought it from was doing it at a discount - £198 delivered, a saving of about £40 over the usual price. an Optima Red Top would come in at about the same (as full price) or only a little less. EVERYTHING is more expensive over here!

Thaks Retmil - I'll bear that in mind and do a few more trips:)

Revival time! Brought to you by the letters B E R T
This was the first hit I got on google, so therefore this is the winner. I have not read the thread, so if this is a re-post, my apologies. Posting this as an FYI, for options. This also may be common knowledge, and I also do not know what the books call for, it may indeed call for this battery? Long story short, I needed a battery quick for the Liberty and had bought this Costco brand Kirkland group 86 for another vehicle a couple months ago, which I never used. So I threw it in for the win. It sits a little taller than what I took out, but it fits.
