New Gladiator Ad

This is one of the best Jeep ads I've seen in some time. Yeah, for the price of the Gladiator I think I would buy ten used Liberty's and start my own fleet, but with Bill Murray what's not to like:

Good commercial & whack a mole funny !
I've been on dealer lot to inspect the Gladiator. Interesting Pick up.
Not much head space for someone 6'1 and lack of foot well space for driver.
Here price was $60k + + equivalent to 40 ounces of gold or more !!
I have seen a few around town, but not too many.

That ad is so cool.....our ads here are very basic and boring!

We do not get the Gladiator here....I drove an old Gladiator in the 1970s in Army green when doing Civilian Army camps here in SA. This had a reputation for turning over so was called the "Widow Maker".

I had no problems driving it....best Army vehicle I drove was the open original WWII style Jeep.

Must admit I loved that commercial.

But there's something about the Gladiator that bothers me as not quite right. Cannot put my finger on it, though. It just niggles at me.

There are quite a few around here in the land of conspicuous consumption.

They look to skinny for me.

I also really like that commercial.

To me, the Gladiator is just too long. I think they look cool enough, I guess- but I think they are kind of stuck between Pickup and Jeep. Too long and big for a Jeep with a bed too short for a Pickup.

That being said, I'm still waiting for a true Scrambler
