Well I joined this forum in October of 08 when I purchased my first liberty. Over 4 years I did a lot of tinkering and ended up with a OME/Bilstein 1.5" lift on top of Boiler's 3/8" strut top plates with a clevis and 2 extra rear coil isolators. In August of 2011 my girlfriend at the time who has since become my wife bought herself a KJ also. In January of 2012 an old lady ran a red light and totaled my Renegade. After that I decided to get a half ton Silverado to replace the liberty because we had began doing a lot of boating and the pickup undoubtedly had much more towing capability than the liberty. Now I'm in the process of starting my own business and need a three quarter ton work truck with a long bed so I've decided to sell my half ton, buy another KJ for a daily driver, and buy a work truck. Well I've been watching the market in my area and deciding what features I wanted in my next KJ. I had determined I wanted a light color because my Renegade and my wife's Latitude were both dark blue and I was kind of tired of that. Also I had seen on craigslist not many sports had faired well in the sun with those gray plastic fenders, not dissing anyone here, just not many people take care of their rig like most of us here. I wasn't able to find any Renegades that were reasonably priced that were actually 4x4 and not worn out. So I decided I wanted no less than a Limited or similar model with all painted fenders and bumpers so that I could wax it all and not be concerned about faded plastic. Well if I was going limited I wanted an EVIC of course and leather if possible because I hated how easy my Renegades seats stained. So I've been checking craigslist for a few weeks and today happened across this great deal! The seller was in a financial bind and willing to let the Jeep go for half of what similar models had been going for in this area! 2005 White Limited 4x4 with leather and EVIC! It has 162,500 miles which I wanted to stay around the 130k-150k range but for $3,000.00 CASH I couldn't pass it up! There are a few imperfections of course being 11 years old and after 162k miles but they're minor compared to my savings! My plan is to go back with an OME/Bilstein lift on top of a strut plate and clevis combo and extra isolators out back. I'm wanting to black powdercoat these factory wheels set them out on 1.25" spidertrax spacers and wrap them with 245/70R17's. Can't wait to get to work on this rig! Its currently on 245/60/17 Trail Cutters which seem to be pretty aggressive tires for an all terrain I'm sure they wont last long though, does anyone know the name for these particular wheels? The spare doesn't match the rest and I'm going to be on the look out for a matching one to powder coat black with the others. Also I can't seem to get all of the EVIC screens to come up on the I know specifically the tire pressure screen is not shown is that normal, is there settings to adjust which screens are available?

Welcome back! I just saw a white Liberty the other day and they look quite sharp. We own a white vehicle so we are a little bias I guess. When we were looking for a JK back in '08 white was on our short list, but found a great deal on a new '09 red. Anyway happy modding and good luck with your new business!(Which is what if you don't mind me asking)

Looks great! What interior does it have? The tan or gray one?

As for the EVIC....not all display the tire pressures. Mine does not. I was surprised too but apparently there's two EVICs and that's the only difference between them. Looks like our Limiteds are probably equipped the same way.

Looks real good, wondered whatever happened to you.
I'd second guess doing the wheels black though, been done and doesn't look that good, now all white rig would stand out ( white wheels on it)

Thanks Bert, I do like white very much!
As for my business, my father-in-law has been in the glass service industry for 30 years and the local company he has worked for all that time is dissolving due to the owner being 74 years old and refusing to sell out at reasonable price. So I'm starting my own and my father-in-law is going to help me get it going and help me manage it. I'm currently and accountant and salesman for a fuel company here in Arkansas, I've got a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration both from Arkansas State University and I've always wanted to run my own business so this is the first step. I'm in the process of purchasing a building facility for the business, which has a full size automotive lift, that will come in very handy lifting this new KJ! Anyway we're Delta Glass, LLC of Jonesboro, AR and we will provide automotive, residential, and commercial glass services throughout Northeast Arkansas!

Thanks HJ, it is gray which I prefer, my wife has tan and I like the gray better. That's BS about the EVICs it clearly states in the owners manual that the EVIC includes TPS monitoring and displays each tire pressure and location except the spare. That *****!

Thanks tom, do you have any pics of these wheels powercoated black? There's no way I'm going all white haha I was born in 1992 I don't need a wheel paint scheme from then lol! I had a set of ICON wheels powder coated black for a period of time on my old KJ and they looked good I thought.

Looks good man I will keep you in mind when I go to get my kj's windshield replaced. And I know what you mean about the faded plastics I'm thinking of masking mine off and plasti dipping everything back to black

I even found an 05 brochure just to read up and it acted like they were all the same EVIC. But the part numbers are different I guess.
