New liberty owner

Hello, John and Carol here.

We are going to be purchasing a 2007 Jeep Liberty, silver, Manual
trans this coming wed. We are so excited to pick up our new car.
We looked and looked for a manual. I was beginning to think that
they did not make any. It has 102k miles.

We have 1 1999 jeep cherokee sport also that we really like.
The Liberty got rave reviews on Edmunds consumer reports
that we decided to buy one! We live in Howard, OH.
Glad to be a part of this group!

If you don't have a manual yet, try the dealer. I just got 1 for my 2006 Liberty from there a few weeks ago.

The manual is locating in the glove compartment, there is a slot for it. you need to kneel down and open the glove compartment and look at the top of the glove compartment and it should be there.

Yeah, this thread got off track. One owners manual is in the little slot above the glovebox and the other manual 5 speed one you mentioned is bolted to the back of your engine......LOL

Many ways to desuberbanize your ride:gr_grin:
Check out JeepinByAl
Lifts from 850 and up
06 and 07s are a little harder to lift due to crap ABS etc
Stay away from and spacer lifts, Skyjacker, Rustys, Rocky Road etc
OME or JBA coilovers
If thinking that route

Yes and about the only real option. ( that lasts and provides a good ride and handling )
Of course JBA coilovers are the best by far, but more expensive of course
OME springs are unbeatable in my book for the KJs

Hello, Glad to see I am not the only new guy here. Just went out to Dallas yesterday to pick up my KJ. It is an 05 CRD. She is in overall good sound mechanical shape but I have a few little quirks to work out. PO has installed a sketchy HID setup that will be coming off immediately and I bought the Rig with the full knowledge that the front drive shaft is shot. But she drove from Dallas with 32" BF Mud terrains for 3 hours and handled amazing the whole ride. Going to be swapping those over for some more street friendly tires and rims this week and saving those mud tires for adventurous weekends in the Ozarks and what not. Good luck with "De-Urbanizing" your Liberty!

What kind of lift is on yours?
Has it been regeared yet for those 32s?
