Cough Cough...

Mid Atlantic Blue....

;-)
I was after either the Blue or the Green. It made the search harder but I wasn't prepared to compromise beyond that, it also had to have full leather and heated seats and be a CRD. However had I had a crystal ball I would probably have gone for the V6 petrol as top spec low mileage ones were cheap as chips and would cost the same to run now!

Is it scrapyards or KJ's that are surprisingly common in Norfolk?

I was up there in the Summer (to pick up some wheels & tyres) & didn't see much evidence of either, not that I expect to see scrappies any more: an unGodly alliance of environmentalists & property developers have seen to that.

Oh, & if it's not too late, Happy New Year! :)
Happy New Year to you too!

somewhere between London & Zunny Deb'n (England)
Both are reasonable common here! Thankfully the green tossers seem to be more city based! ;-)
Happy New year
Well, having spent most of a long weekend under the KJ, after it's been laying idle for a few months, I thought perhaps I ought to find out what I might have missed. At the weekends, my nearest city is 22 miles away & while there are a couple of s/h parts places around I don't know of a scrapyard, as I understand the term.

Obviously, I can, & do, get stuff on-line, there's even a couple of Jeep specialists - but it's not the same.

No, I love a rummage round a scrapyard, cars are good but industrial is even better, I bought a pair of forklift main rams about 20 years ago from a scrapyard, big plans.... Still have them, they have moved house with me twice :)
