Hello all, new member here from the UK. Got myself a 2.4 petrol recently. I know, it's the "baby" but it came in cheap and I needed new wheels. I got offered 500 more for it selling to an online company than I actually paid for it, so that can't be bad!

It'll need a new front prop at some point, not really sure why previous owner removed it though.

Running some general grabber at2 tires. Don't want anything too aggressive as it's also my daily driver haha.

Yea

h, it seems pretty clean. Minimal rust as far as I can tell. Want to get underneath it when the weather is nicer and pop some corrosion protection on too
The sills rot out, pull the plastic covers off and soak them inside and out with waxoil or similar, let it dry for a while before clipping the plastic back.
I need to put new inner and outer sills on mine soon, they are patchwork!

I'll definitely check that out! Fortunately the last MOT inspection passed with a clean sheet so it should be ok at the moment. But I definitely want to preserve it! As soon as the weather warms up I'll get in under those covers!

Looks clean mate, mines an 04 2.4 sport 61000miles paid £1300 for it nearly 2 years ago. Wasnt too much wrong with it apart from an idler delete which i fiscovered when i bought a new fan belt..Did have a 2.5 previously which i loved but sadiq khan made me get a new one. Hopefully taking this one to italy for 3 months in the summer. All the best with it Paul
