2008 Jeep Liberty 4x4 3.7 liters

My Dad has always been big into jeeps mainly old CJs. He rolled a few in his youth. With that being said I am a total novice when it comes to vehicle maintenance and I want to learn as much as I possibly can to hold on to my liberty while I save for maybe an old CJ. I have replaced light bulbs and the serpentine belt while i was stranded in nowhere NH. Right after I post this I will be looking for the FAQ to learn more about maintenance.

I am a man on a mission to prove to my wife that we dont have to go see the mechanic for every hiccup ye olde jeep has!

Greetings fellow Jeep enthusiasts!

There is a wealth of information here. You would be surprised how simple most of the basic maintenance tasks are when you know what to do. Before I came here I had never done any of the following:

Changed Differential fluid
Changed Transfer Case fluid
Replaced brakes
Cleaned a throttle body
Flushed power steering fluid
Wired up trailer light connections
Installed OEM fog lights
Installed offroad lights

I'm sure there is more, but you get the idea. :favorites13:

This crew is awesome, now back to scheming on what to hide from the wife, when it comes to the 07 :)
