Hi folks, I'm from Oklahoma and I have owned my KJ for a little over a year now. My wife and I call him Project Mighty Mouse. He began life as a 3.7 sport, belonging to a millennial college girl. She was so "airy" that she didn't even know someone stole the front drive shaft. Yeah, I'm at a loss of words too... I have a Daystar 2.5 lift I am putting under him, and 245/75 r16s. I really wanted the liberty due to the slack "real" jeep owners give them. I dig the under dog side of him. I didn't really care for him at first, I will admit. But here recently my wife and I bought a 99 z71, and that's her toy. I have an odd deep admiration for little old Mighty Mouse now. I plan on posting pictures of him.(as any proud dad would do). Anyone else here find themselves getting insomnia looking on the Internet for hours for new projects to do to their KJs?

A little winded, but I wanted to cover the whole thing. Any questions, comments, or suggestions, I look forward to. Thanks for your time.

Welcome
Now since you asked ...................
save your money and please DO NOT buy and install the Daystar spacer lift. VERY bad choice .
There are much better ways that actually ride better, last 5-7 times longer and won't destroy your front suspension.
Was just asked the other day to install a spacer lift on a KK, refused like I always do, I won't install them even though it would of made me some money.
As far as front driveshaft, more than likely rear CV went out, ( as they all do ) and she couldn't afford to replace and didn't know you could rebuild it, so removed it. Highly doubt that it was stolen.

I ran the daystar lift on mine and I can say that it was a waste of my time and money. I ended up going with a complete suspension lift that I am much happier with now. Listen to Tommudd and skip the daystar spacer lift. Unless of course you want your springs to eventually feel like a rocking boat out on the ocean.

Welcome! We are in the same boat bud! I've already installed my daystar 2.5". While it wasn't hard to put on I now see the that should have just went ahead and did a true suspension lift. But if you got it, run it till you can get the parts scrounged up for the true suspension lift! I've already orders jba lifted upper comtrol arms and terra flex bump stops. This is me and my sons project so I have no problem redoing the suspension again! Lol. Anyways welcome to the site!!!!
