I have a leak in my radiator and I am going to replace it. I bought this 2005 liberty used and I am not sure what coolant is in it. I was thinking about getting GO5 but what if that is not what's in the system now? Will using GO5 mess things up if that is the case? Thanks. Brian

I was thinking that but do not know how I would be able to get all the old coolant out. Could you jack the back of the Jeep up as high as I can and let as much coolant out of the lower hose? Would that drain it good enough? Thanks Brian

No that wouldn't work, but there are other ways to flush the system out .
I usually drain all I can out then use water keep filling and letting it run through . Some use special things to help flush it .
But whatever way flush it good then start over with HOAT .
I just did the radiator (MOPAR ) , hoses (NAPA), water pump ( NAPA ), thermostat and housing (MOPAR ) Hoat coolant ( NAPA ) etc last week.

Bought a VW Bug in Bellevue one time ( way back in 78 I think it was . Funny story , visiting my ( now ex and dead ) brother in law.
Leaving I said I'll give ya 75 bucks for that ( 1969 ) Bug . His wife yells "SOLD " . rear fenders / rear bumper were removed its 8:30 in the evening and I'm 150 miles from home. But told my wife to stay close on my butt and we took off !

Tom, your stories get me laughing every time I read them! More car stories than a NASCAR driver :happy175::happy175::happy175:
