No start when cold, no log by computer

Well, the problem still exists even tho intermittently.

One work-around we found might reveal the actual problem. If the engine will not run, we take the ignition key out, then put it back in again and try starting. Try that a few times pausing in the run position a few moments (gets the fuel pump to pump-up pressure). Then turn off and remove key. Then the engine starts right up like nothing wrong ever happened.

I'm not sure if these things have what is called a Check Valve in the fuel system (supposed to keep the fuel from completely draining back out of the line). Usually when they go bad, the first symptom is long crank times, and you can work around it by "priming" the fuel system by turning the ignition on for a few seconds at a time, two or three times, to force the fuel through the lines up to the engine.

If i'm reading what you last said correct, it sounds like thats what you're doing.

That does sound like a possibility. I'm not sure if there is such a check-valve in this 2005 Liberty; I'll bring it up with the service guy.
