Great Pics, looks like fun.
wouldnt worry about the noise , most likely foreign material, par for the course going thru mud like that.
Ive had the worst wheel wobble after mudding only to be fixed with a good wash.

mud bends parts ,good luck fixing them
rocks break parts ,at least you know what you got

I hate mud so much that I will drive through thick brush to avoid it
for a while I took great pride in the fact that I went over a full year and 10+ trail rides with out washing the TJ ,then it rained when I was out riding

Yeah Vranes!!! Looks like you had fun dude, and that's what Jeeps are for!! When I get mud caked everywhere I strip the skids, lift the KJ up and power wash the H*** out of the underside, then regrease u-joints and front end. It's work but a pittance to pay for having had a blast with friends. Keep it up man.

Even though it's sometimes fun to drive through mud is your enemy

Consider yourself lucky that you don't drive a manual transmission because if you did you could have gotten mud between the clutch plate & the flywheel puke.gif

I have to agree with everybody's advice so far. Get your Libby up on a lift or on jackstands, pull the wheels off and carefully inspect it from beneath and gently pry out all that stubborn mud. Look for it within the coils too and look for wayward branches that may have gotten jammed up there.

As a side note, sometimes I'll get mud and/or ice cake up inside the rims resulting in a wicked vibration at highway speeds.
