Odor

I have a 2006 Liberty and over the winter a mouse moved into the IP and set up a nest. Now this not so exciting odor emanates from the vents. Can anyone advise the best way to get into the internal vent system (probably near the heater/ac fan) to clean this out? Thanks.

Do you know how it got into the system? You can remove the cowl infront of the windshield to get to that intake. May want to check and may sure it didnt chew through that screen then go from there.

When you get into it and clean it out and put it back together there's a product called OZIUM which is made to spray in vents and kill odors and bacteria. You can find it at Auto Stores and it is not expensive...It's a spray can. Just follow the directions. You could also use Lysol spray I guess.
