I found a OEM light bar on Craigs List a couple of days a go.
Picked it up today.
At 50 bucks,it was too good of a deal to pass up.
The guy I bought it from said that he got it from a salvage yard.
Don't know what he paid for it but I guess he didn't want to pay more, since he cut the wire that goes to the switch and left the switch in the vehicle.
I am guessing that I don't need the OEM switch?I could use a different one?
I like this one, since the orange goes well with my 07.

Also needed are mounting brackets.
Again,do i need OEM ones?

What is the thing in the third pic?Is it a fuse?
The insulation is not as bad as it looks in the pics.Had to get the canned air and blow off the cob webs.

Be good to see what you actually bought , if talking about a bracket for the light bar, it's attached to the light bar itself, bottom part comes off. Don't know what other kind of bracket you would need. Most all switches just drill the right size hole and install

Here are a couple of pics
Still not sure what you mean about the bracket...how does the light bar attach to the Jeep?

The bottom section bolts down to the roof with wiring running down through roof That is the bracket
The big hole on the right side of picture is where the wiring goes down through the roof

Any chance that the instructions for this job are online some where?
I'll take a look and hopefully something turns up

in the first pic,the black wire has been cut.i think he did this because he said he did not want to be charged for the switch.
So what I connect that cut off piece to?I want to be sure it will work with a different switch.
And the white connects to ..?
I looked at the instructions and it's more confusing than 2001 as directed by David Lynch;

I have a working relay+harness+trim panel. Only thing missing is the switch face.
