OME Lift

Should be OEM but yeah. I only buy OEM for parts like lift kit. Bought it from https://www.allmoparparts.com. For sure they are a legitimate seller of mopar. You can also just searched in Google for Mopar online store and just take a look who can give you a great deal. BUt for other parts like tire and other interior accessories, my go-to is just the nearest mechanic shop here!

OEM does not have lifts, only OME

Only buy OEM for parts like lift kit? What in the heck are you talking about? OE/Mopar/Jeep does not, nor have they ever or will they ever offer a lift kit of any kind for the KJ/KK.

Seems like JBAoffroad.com or jeepinbyal.com is the most recommended source for parts but everything seems to be out of stock on those sites. Am I looking in the right place? I was going to put together everything tommudd listed in post #5 on this thread for a 2.5" kit.

JBA is out of the lift business exept for the uper control arms.
Many places still sell the OME brand , may check with www.boulderbars.com ( ALLJs ) ask for Heather great place for Jeep related parts and they can ( or could ) get the 132L shocks for the rear

It's a shame, not only for new owners who want to get a quality lift kit, but for old timers like me who will eventually need replacement shocks and springs for their JBA kit. Installed in 2012 or so, still going strong 100K+ miles later, but everything breaks eventually.

I'll check them out, thanks for the info. I knew the options were somewhat limited going into it, but expected multiple vendors would carry the OME components when I saw they make KJ parts. I've used OME based kits on a TJ and XJ and was very happy with their performance both on and offroad.

I've said it before with great optimism. Hopefully the aftermarket will catch up later like it did with xj's. It wasn't until they were cheap and more people started realizing how well they could be built up... There's always hope.
