Thx guys for help on the last code I had, O2 sensor that would not go away until I threw out the new Bosch sensor I had installed and installed a new factory sensor. That code is gone but now another...
1. first code was for bank 1 upstream sensor, at that time I had no codes for bank 2....but in the process of confirming that the bosch sensor was bad I removed the factory sensor from bank 2 and placed in bank 1.
2. After confirmation I moved the good factory sensor back from bank 1 to bank 2...and now all of a sudden I'm throwing a P0430 code in bank 2....also a p2098 came up but then went away.
3. I think it is too coincidental that I remove the factory upstream from bank two, then put it back and then immediately after have a cat fail...
4. I did check for exhaust leaks by blowing air into exhaust pipe while spraying soapy water around cat and O2 sensors...no leaks....any ideas?

You could have damaged the sensor moving it around. It is ceramic like a spark plug.
