Painting My Skids...

I'm thinking about painting my skids...engine skid, tcase/****** skid, and the gas tank skid... what do you guys think?
I'm not sure what color i'd paint them though... maybe yellow?
I know the paint would probably get scratched all to heck but i think it'd be kinda neat

If you use a rust primer and paint like Tremclad not only would your skids look cool, but you would be protecting them as well. Go for it!

I am "young folk" then, cause I have a JKJCountry sticker......

BTT.....paint the skids RED. Mine are all scratched up now and I was thinking of taking them off and doing them RED......just thinking about it.

They'd get all scratched up, but they would be battle scars.....a good way to show everyone that you're not afraid to take it offroad

I think I'm gonna go silver.... red is too obnoxious for me and the yellow didn't appeal to me as much as I thought it would... so silver it is!

what kind of paint should I use though?....type, brand, etc?
