Hey guys question I have a 2003 jeep liberty 3.7 2WD 193,423 MLS. I replaced all the sensors and pcv and breathers. But as the old IAT is covered in oil after a hour drive. I don't have the baffle in the oil fill which I did order. I was wondering if placing a catch can would help keeping oil being sucked into the intake manifold. Any thoughts???

Have you checked the spounge in the air cleaner housing ?
I didn't see anything like that in housing

as you are looking down inside the air box, after removing the lid, right side with a hose going to it
It'll be in a little holder on the right side. What brand PCV did you use? Aftermarket ones are very hit and miss.

My Sponge Bob is now green. I cut him out of a lawn mower air filter. Just thought I'd mention the idea in case someone is missing theirs. I only had to replace mine because someone had used what looked like fiberglass insulation.

Not sure 03s had a sponge bob. My 02 did not. Might have started in 04.

no bob's in early 03s I think.
Do you have a PCV running into the air box ????????????????????????????
My 02 did not. Breathers ran into the big resonator box sitting in front of the TB.

The issue is that your jeep just needs a new pcv valve, mopar has a TSB out for an updated pcv valve.
