I've looked through the lifted Liberty pics on a few forums and havn't been able to find this. I like a super stiff ride and would like to do OME 790's on the front with no plates and no clevis lift, and 948's on the back with one or two Iso. Does anyone have any pictures? Trying to get an idea if it will be level and what it looks like. Thanks

Man that's a tough order! I'll share what I have that's close-ish. JUST completed with OME 790 springs on the front for the bumper, winch, and Hi-Lift, but I do have the top plate and clevis. Just 1 spare iso on the back each side with the 948's.

So close to what you're asking for except my front is higher. Literally completed this hours ago. It sounds like what you are looking for would have a sizable difference between front and rear (~24" each side on the rear with 2 iso's estimate and maybe 21-22" on the front measured hub-to-flare W/O top plate or clevis). So just tilt your head slightly to the left on my pic and you'll get the idea. ;)

Cheers,
Jamie

Do you have a steel front bumper ?
If not the 790s will be too stiff
trust me even with the ARB and other heavy stuff they are very/very firm

No, but I plan to have one by the end of the year. Didn't see the sense in running 927s then buying 790s.

Would it be tolerable for 6-8 months?

Thank you both.

I run ironman diesel springs which have a even stiffer spring rate than the OME but its firm. Very firm but I'm building me a bumper for the front sometime soon...maybe

Ah OK :icon_neutral:

To the OP, NO I would not recommend running them for even 6 months
way too firm. This is from experience firsthand , I like a firm ride as well but without weight its too rough of a ride except on very smooth roads

Thanks Tom. 927s it is. Wife will have to deal with 2 purchases. I can always do plates and clevis lift for a while.

Is the Ironman for CRD the same as the Ironman Hd kit I see on JBA?

Yes as far as I can tell the "load range c" is the same as the ironman hd or no load diesel springs.

I run JEEP014C front coils on mine.

Where are you coming up with that figure?

Thats what marlin told me when I bought them. Thats why I went with the "C" becuase he only had 2 different rates

Load Range "B"

Front Strut Springs fit KJ, KK & KA with 3.7 L Gas engine, 0-50kg Additional Weight, for 1.50" lift.

Load Range "C"

Front Strut Springs fit KJ, KK & KA with 3.7 L Gas engine & Winch Bumper or Diesel engine, 50-100kg Additional Weight on Front End for 1.50" lift.

When I was considering Ironman or OME that's what I was told to, only two load ranges available upfront for Ironman from Jeepinbyal

But thats not spring rate is what I am getting at
the 50-100 kg additional weight is what it will carry not over stock
