Semi Tractors have 100% exposed fuel tanks, where's the safety standard for them? I can say this because I drove Semi Tractor.

Been a long time ago but back home 2 semi'***** head on at 65mph and both exploded,a 3rd ran into the back of them and it also caught on fire. Was a real mess since all 3 were carrying a full load of cattle.Couple of differences. At the least.
Not passenger vehicle.
gas- explosive vapor, with ignition source.
diesel -not as dangerous.
But look what a lot of those trucks haul.

I received a letter from Chrysler instructing me to take my Jeep to a local dealership where it would receive a free inspection and if necessary, a trailer hitch would be installed at no charge.
Yep they look at it. If you don't got you get if you got you don't get. Go figure.

Kind of like being single vs. being married. :hmm:
Has anyone seen the hitch they put on? Is it any good?
They haven't started yet and when/if they do it with be a normal Mopar hitch ,
Should be adequate for small utility trailers, right?
