The one you are referring to is the black dotted cover up. (which we all have, and you can't call that a tint as it doesn't block anything other than rearview mirror)

Mine is not dotted what so ever. The tint on mine is exactly like the tint on the rear windows. It goes all the way across and stays the same dark consistancy all the way doen until the last 1/8th inch in which it fades to nothing.
