Programing the key fob remote.

After reading thru the "How to " section, I programed my key fob to do the thing I wanted it to do ie: unlocking all doors with 1 button push.

Yesterday I tried to do the same with my friends KJ and it wouldn't work. Her rig is an '02 Sport. Any difrence in my '04 to her '02 in doing the reprogramming?

WOW, you can reprogram the fobs?

I hate that every time I want to unlock all doors I have to click twice.


How do you reprogram? What else can it do?

The programming is different if you have or do not have a EVIC.It will tell you haw in the owners manual.I had to use my key fob to program it on my '02,though I have not used my key fobs in about 6 years(I use my remote starter key fob).

AUTOMATIC (ROLLING) LOCKS
This is the "Lock when the vehicle is going 15mph" feature. This feature can also be disabled through the EVIC.
The rolling locks feature can be toggled ON/OFF by using the DRB IIIt only.

You can disable/enable this feature without a EVIC or the use of a DRBIII.I have done it.

READ YOUR OWNERS MANUAL,it will explain how to do all the features.
