Question ? 15 x 7 w/ 31 10.5 x 15 work ?

Can and would 15 x 7 rims with 31 x10.5 15 tires work on lifted 2003 liberty ?

From everything I've read 15x7 aftermarket steel wheels like Cragar soft 8's with 4" backspacing will work.

All depends on how it is lifted
spacer lift - more than likely not
full spring lift, possibly depends on tires, tread design etc
30 inch tall is better
will you lose power/mileage ? OH HECK YES!
aftermarket, 4 inch backspacing only not stock wheels

and please fill out the specs on what year/ what you have done to yours, makes it so much easier to answer questions. Just like if we knew what lift, what you had added or didn't add would make a huge difference in the response you'd get.

Regardless,you and your jeep will be happier with 16" wheels. 15" works,it is just so close to rubbing the caliper.

I was going to go with 30x9.5, but I've heard some say there is really not a lot of difference in diameter between them and 235/75r15, just a little wider, whereas 31x10.5-15 is going to be a definite increase in size. With 15x7 alloys, I'd really like to see how they compare to what others run.
This site gives a rough idea of tire dimensions, but we all know that different model of tires are actually different sizes.
