I am looking to do a 3.5" lift and I have done a lot of reading and searching to clarify most of the questions that I have. I am going to use OME springs front and rear, 927 on front 948 on rear. I am going to get JBA upper a-arms, 3/8" clevis spacers, OME front struts, Ironman 4" rear shocks, terraflex front bump stops, hockey pucks for the rear, and a Y-link extension. So my first question is, is there anything that I need to add to this list? Second is due to the fact that I have a daystar spacer lift at the moment do I need to buy the oem top plates or can I use the set that came with the daystar kit? Third which isolators do I need to replace due to the fact that the daystar lift deleted the lower spring isolators? Lastly so that this lift is level how many extra spring isolators will I need and which ones will I need?

Thank you for all of the help in advance. I am not going to be doing this for some time but I am looking to make sure that my parts list for the lift is complete. If I can afford some of the parts I might do this lift in stages.

To begin with the OME 927s and a 3/8 inch clevis is not going to give you 3.5 inches of lift. It will give you 3.25 but thats it .
I would do the 927s and a 1/4 inch top plate, plus a 1/4 inch clevis for 3.5 inches in front.
For the rear you will need 2 new lower iso's ( one per side to replace the Daystar spacer) , plus 4 extra uppers ( 2 per side)
Yes you will need the OEM style upper mounting plate and also the is's for the front, plates should come with ones or some do at least.
Now of course there may be some UCA/ Spring contact up front, fine line there, some get it at 3.5 some at 3.75 or so
but just a possibility

Thank you for all of that information. I guess that I read too many different threads to get some of the information that I was reading completely correct. This was an extreme help.

Hi jharris

Yes that right 1/4 top plate the JBA strut spacer plate.

OME and Ironman springs and shocks are good quality.
I recommanded too look on this site below as a guide line
for the parts that you will need for you lift setup.

JBA have the complete Tommudd's Econo 3.5" Lift Kit KJ
which contains Ironman springs and shocks for the front.

Tommudd's Econo 3.5" Lift Kit

Or the Tommudd's Econo 3.5" Lift Kit KJ OME

Tommudd's Econo 3.5" Lift Kit

Both of this lift kits if you may notice include the JBA rear springs
which will not need to add upper ISO to level it.

if you're looking to have the parts for the lift one by one,
you may need to decide for OME or Ironman in that case
you will need upper Isolator for leveling at the rear.

When i choose my lift i order it in small batch until i
have it all. I chose a weekend to mount all the parts
for the lift in the workshop of a friend of mine it tooks
about 4 to 5 hours i was very exciting to see the transformation
of my KJ it was fun. When you get all your parts and you begin
to add on your KJ you will love it more.

This is exactly what I am trying to do so that it will fit into my budget easier than trying to drop all of the money at once. That is why I have decided to do OME springs front and rear.

Do JBA 4" rear springs with stock isolators and the JBA Y-Link sit level with a OME927 over and OME HD Strut with 1/4" top plate and 3/8" clevis up front with JBA UCA's or will the rear sit higher with stock bumper and tire carrier maybe 150lbs of gear in the cargo area? And if I run JBA 4" rear springs do I have to use ironman 4" shocks or can I run OME shocks?
