You mean new higher springs along with a 2.5" Daystar 9116 spacer lift? :p Too much lift, IMO to be safe.

Not to say that it can't be done, but it's just not safe without other modifications involved, of which I don't know. (But if I had to guess, you'd definitely need new upper control arms...)

new springs that can have a lift added to them later. i think my jeep is lower then what it used to be. the springs look like they're sagging. i got new tires so am i just paranoid or is part of my suspension slacking.

Sagging? I doubt it. Every vehicle eventually sags after a few years but since Pre-Lowered '02 Libs are still running around there higher than '03+ I doubt it has sagged to the point where it's noticeable.

Im not sure what you mean. You want springs that are not stock but dont want any lift? No one makes springs like that.

You get the lift from springs so idk what you mean by 'use them with a lift.'

You can get lift from spacers but its the cheap way to go.

Figure out what you want and the cost, and start putting away a little at a time until you have enough. Then get it and install it all at once.

Just a thought.

/\ Agreed...Just wait until you decide what you want, save...and then buy everything at once. Best to not rush into things and spend money.

or if you have time when you can piece it together for a great deal for example.

5 mtr's 245/75/16 $250
Rustys 2.5 coil $250
F/R new RSX shocks $175
Grand total of around $6-700 in aftermarket parts is all I have in my jeep and I love it.

So you want to buy a new suspension now that doesnt lift the Jeep then buy another new suspension to lift it? :)

Just wait and buy one new suspension to lift it. Besides the stock suspension you cannot buy a suspension that doesnt lift. The OME suspension is the smallest and it gives 1.5in of lift.

my goal this summer is to make $4000 in spending cash. i figure i can get the y pipe fixed, a 3" frankenlift, and some tires i can dedicate to only off roading. like some MTR's and keep them in the garage.

Well the OME springs are part of the Franken lift so just either save up for the Frankenlift I Standard(I basically have this one except for the Daystar strut plates)or buy the OME springs now and get the Daystar strut plate, bump stops, shocks and struts later. It'll be more expensive and you'll have to do everything twice.

ok. i was just wondering about that. i may be paranoid but i swear the springs are sagging just a tiny bit on my jeep. thats where this whole idea for new ones came from. im going to go to Marsh and grab something to drink before i die of dehydration and while im out there ill grab some pixx and tell me what your opinion is on them. i may just be crazy. screwy.gif

Don't even worry about it. Even if they are sagging just wait until you can afford a lift. Best way to tell is measure from the frame or pinch weld to the ground in both the front and rear and compare it with someone else's unlifted #'s
