Radio Interference

I own a 02 Jeep Liberty Limited. Just recently I started having radio/CD interference when I am driving my Jeep. It comes across the speakers as a popping noise and only does it when the car is in drive. My husband has replaced the radio thinking the radio was bad, but it's still there. If anyone is having or has had the same problem and if so what caused and how can I fix it. It's driving me crazy!

Cellphone interference? I never had popping noise with the stock radio. Did you recently change your cellphone with a new one?

No, I have had the same cell phone and I do not use my cell phone while I drive it goes through my TomTom GPS.

It beats me. Just pop open the door trims and see if they went bad.. That's the only thing I can think of.

Bad spark plugs are what caused it.

How does spark plugs cause a radio interference....weird.

Electro Magnetic Fields. A bad spark plug will produce an EMF that is strong enough to interfere with other electrical devices.
