Do these jeeps take well with a double din? I have an 02. Some vehicles don't have the proper room/set up for a double and the install kits look or fit horribly

Ok I didn't want to lose my aluminum bezel either.
Think I'll try the 2017 series x4900bt single din

Where is the one screw to get the bezel out? Ashtray?
If you have the smokers package remove the ashtray and screw is behind once removed.
In my case, it is a coin tray and accessory 12 socket.
Screw is in there...

Stock RBQ, 6-Disc in dash changer, AM/FM. In the process of adding an aux input jack. Then I'll either plug a Bluetooth adapter in there or just use a patch cable from my phone.

My front speakers are blown, but still audible.. need to replace or repair those. Tweeters are fine, rear door speakers don't have much volume... not sure if that's typical or a problem.

Single DIN kenwood bluetooth receiver (no CD) with high RMS output (no amps or subs for now). Sounds pretty damn sweet - I use it every day and play music from spotify/iphone via bluetooth audio connection. It does have 6 RCA outputs for an amp, so one day...

I put an Alpine CDE-164BT in the Liberty and LOVE it compared to the Pioneer that was in it when I purchased it. It really brought the music to life compared to before. I'll still buy some nicer speakers and run an amp at a later date, but this was a definite step up for now.

I bypassed the factory Infinity amps in the front door and am just running the front and rear door speakers off of the head unit power. The front speakers are just some typical cheap replacement speakers (also replaced before I bought it), and the stock speakers in the rear doors. The new head unit was improvement enough for now, so I kind of put a pause on the rest of the audio for now to focus on other items.

Anyways, here's a picture for you:

I didn't think about getting a picture with it lit up, but it has a color option that is pretty close to the dash lights on the Liberty. Close enough I didn't mess with the custom color option.

Ok guys and gals i got what i have been waiting for. As i said in the beginning i am on a budget. I wish i could spend $200+ on a double din plus the dash kit but it just isnt in my cards right now. I got this jensen vx 4012 flip up for $150 shipped. From the information i can find it was released last year. It is cea certified for 14w rms i believe per channel. I couldnt wait until tomorrow to hook it up so here we go

You'll have to put pics on postimg.org or upload them here, 1 at a time. Photobucket is holding them ransom for $400.

Hey.
The picture of the box has your address on it.

Also use the direct link instead of thumbnails for the forums instead so one wouldn't need to click it to have a larger image be shown via external website.

You have to copy the direct link, but add the IMG tags front and rear, like so:

Size measurement for car radios.

Standard replacement radios are single DIN. Our Jeeps take DIN and a half. Replacement radios with built-in screens are generally double DIN.

Thanks, so if I go to the local stereo shop to upgrade, I should get a double DIN to have a navigation unit? How much would you expect to pay for the Nav, Bluetooth,cd player tuner?
