Hey guys,

Here's the situation, I own a '03 KJ sport in Cactus Green and I've had plans on lifting it this summer. I already have the lift money set back and ready to go, but I came across a killer deal on a '03 KJ Renegade in Cactus Green so I jumped on it. So now I want to lift the Renegade instead, and either save up again for another lift on the sport or just keep the stock suspension(which isn't too badly sagged yet, sits at 19 3/4" from center to bottom of the flare all around) and put a nice set of wheels on it. Right now the Sport is sitting on a set of 245/70r16's on stock wheels, and I would really like to throw a set of black wheels on there. Obviously Cragar soft 8's would look sick, but I'm not sure if the 4" BS will create a problem since I have the 245/70's on there. So my question is: Can I run a set of Cragar Soft 8's in 16x7 5x4.5 With the 4" of BS'ing on the Sport with 245/70's and stock suspension? So could you guys help me out? let me know all the options I'm looking at here, and what the best route to take would be.

Thanks,

Will

Where the problem comes in is with the pinch weld and the bumper, Pinch weld can be pounded over and a heat gun can be used to "massage" the plastic in front ( bumper area)
The combo you want would sit the tire / wheel out over an inch more so there lies the problems
19 3/4 on an 03???

Yeah, I understand that would be the problem. I was more worried about the risk of rubbing or damage. I'm after a wider stance, but I just wasn't sure if the 4" backspacing is too much and if there were any other alternatives to the Cragar wheels.

and yes, It sits about roughly 19 1/2 to 19 3/4.
