I have an 06 Liberty, the rear end is making noise. I was told the spider gears are bad. My question is, how do I determine what my current rear end differential gear ratio is?

I've opened up my 8.25 rear end a month ago to change the oil and my spider gears are all chewed up.
Gear oil and magnet was a mess.
I've also have the loud gear train noise that you have.
I've also have the extra option of a limited slip rear end. AKA posi traction.
Not sure if the spider gears are the same for a limited slip with clutch plates.
When I do decide to change them, I'm going to contact these guys.
They may be able to give you more info on what you need.
