Rear upper control arm

Is the rear upper control arm and ball joint something i can do or let a pro do it. The price they gave me is close to 1000.00 and i think thats a hi price i know they need to make money but come on.:shrug:

Not that hard to do, but depends on how your abilities are, 3 bolts is all you remove and replace, some have problems with the exhaust being a little in the way but I never have

If it is something like just swaping one out for another it is not that hard at all.

The dealer/ shop can replace the upper control arm ball joint.
It would be easier if done on a lift.
It is cheaper to just install a new control arm with new bushings and BJ, however I would keep the Jeep's OEM control arm and press in new Spicer bushings and install a new ball joint for strength. The Jeep's control arm is fairly beefy.

Again thanks for the info i just have a hard time paying that price for something thats 160 bucks
