Rear window will not open from handle

On my 07 liberty the Rear window will not open when using the rear door handle
It works fine from the remote
I took off the panel on the rear gate and all the wiring seems fine and i can hear the microswitch click when I pull on the handle but it does not release the latch to open the glass
Anyone have a similar problem or know what needs fixing?

The microswitch may "click" but not actualy work. The microswitch sends ground to one of the inputs on the BCM so either the switch is faulty...try shorting it out....or you have a bad connection somewhere from the switch all the way to the BCM!:freak3:

common problem - microswitch got rusty. clean it or replace it.
