Out of curiousity, if the remote fails from disarming the vehicle, how does one enter the vehicle and override the alarm?

I believe that turning the car on (with the key, it has a chip in it) will dis-arm the alarm. The alarm will still go off until you start it though.

Hmmm.....if all else fails, I'd go with use the key in the drivers door, pop your hood and yank your battery cables. Might be a bit extreme, but I've had to do it before on another car. Sometimes, if you can get into the car, it'll shut off if you put the key into the ignition and start the car. Some cars I've dealt with, if you put the key in the driver's door and turn it to the unlock position, it'll shut off also. May not be the same for the KJ, but I've found it to be true for a few different other cars.

Turning it on worked for me once. Stoped at the store, shut of the car (the doors locked on the way there), took the key out, had to help the kids unbuckle, opened the door and the alarm starting going off. It was quicker to just start the car than fool around witht he key fob.

I'm SOL, my alarm disables everything if it gets tripped....(IE ignition cut off)
my FOB effed up one time, and i couldnt disengage it....
lucky me, after pressing it NUMEROUS times, it shut off...(still annoying tho, cuz the alarm was blaring)...had to put the thing in valet mode, and get the FOB fixed.
