Remove vanity mirror from sun visor?

Hello,

Has anyone removed the lighted mirrors from their sun visors? I need to re-cover my visors, but I can't figure out how to remove the mirrors.

I searched the forum and Google, and couldn't seem to find anything that would help for the Liberty. Found lots of stuff for other vehicles, but the mirrors seem to be attached differently.

Any help would be much appreciated.

just so happens - I got a bare naked visor on my desk.

Take a look -

it was just snapped in... Really tight. It didn't do much damage but you can see from the stress in the plastic that it didn't come willingly.

My mirror was for-real glass. Don't get cut!!

Well, I got most of the visor disassembled. The part that's giving me trouble now is the hinge on the mirror; for the life of me I can't get it to pop off. Any suggestions? :Frustrated:
