hey all! i'm going to get tires for my libby tomorrow. i did a search on tires and it looks like the revo a/t are the way to go. but i was wondering what's the difference between the revo a/t and the revo aptlll? i checked on the bridgestone site and they look the same.
thanks

I could be wrong, but I think that the APT that you are referring to are the Bridgestone Dueler APT right? If I remember correctly, there is the Dueler APT, Dueler A/T, and the Dueler A/T REVO...3 different tires.

Dueler APTIII

The Dueler A/T REVO is HIGHLY recommended by most of the guys on here. I haven't had them myself, but a friend of mine had a set and loved them.

Running the Revo's right now. Had them on about 2 years now, and have zero complaints. They've worn real good, all things considered (stupid ball joints). Even had a bolt in one that I didn't catch until AFTER I got back from my 1000 mile trip in August.....didn't leak one bit.

Loving my Revos! Admittedly this is my first 4x4 so I haven't tried anything else, but these are awesome in wet and snow.

sweet thanks for the replies fellas. i went today to firestone and the guy at the counter i guess didn't want to make the sale cause according to him the revos are to much tire for a liberty and will give me a really rough ride. he was really pushing the firestone destinations. i ended up getting nothing. i'll go somewhere else to buy the revos.

What an idiot that guy was. He didn't know what he was talking about - AND he lost the sale to boot. There probably was a bigger mark-up on whatever elce he was trying to sell you.

I'm glad you are going somewhere elce for the REVO's.

I just picked up four Revo's 245/70R16 at Discount Tire before the $100 off sale ended on 10/27. $707 out the door with hazard protection which was $22 per tire. Got'em mounted on the 16X7 cragar soft 8's and they are rubbin a little...I need to trim but haven't found the time. The firestone price is better than discount if you don't have the $100 off coupon.

I went to Discount Tire to buy the Revos since that was the best tire available in 17". The sales guy showed me the new BFG M/T KM2, which is a hybrid of the M/T KM and the Krawler KX and also available in 17". The tread design is like the Krawler but with more sipes to make it street legal. I bought the KM2s and love them.
