Ya not to worry it gets a bit dirty sometimes. I drove some dirt country roads today and then got permission from farmer to drive onto his field to get this photo today. This Is Mount Baker In Washington State. Taken from about 50 miles away. Only in winter do the skies clear, as the haze from summer heating and the pollution from the valley, causes the hazy distortions.
Mt. Baker is part of the ring of fire & stands just under 11,000 feet and for further reading:

Mt. Baker is the sleeping Giant in Washington State and remains snow covered all year.

Now it gets tricky...

I knew the cover paint job was way too pretty for a 4x4 in red.
What I wanted to achieve was a spider web type effect close to emblem.
So heated the cover and warmed the clear coat, causing paint to fracture.
This is now what it looks like. Art in the oven at 170 degrees.

Riddler Diff Cover Installed!

All looks good inside of Trac-Lok.
Used 2.5 quarts Lucas 85w-140 plus the 4 ounces of Limited slip additive.
Installed with Lubelocker Gasket & new SKT bolts torqued in sequence by hand at 28 Ft/lb.

I guess some black touch up paint around the new Riddler cover is needed now.

Edit: Black paint sprayed around cover and new sticker added to hatch glass.

I rammed my front Riddler cover on some rocks last sunday and it did not even phase the cover.Though if I had used a lubelocker gasket it would have leaked on how I hit it as the whole weight of the front of my KJ was resting on the very bottom lip of the Riddler cover,four times.With the Ultra Gray RTV no leaks.

No Skid up Front?
If you were hitting with your lift, I could not even go or think of that serious rock crawling!
Looks like you had fun though!
Even for the basic rock stuff I need some rails! (maybe next year)
and the Lubelocker is just a test right now, it may not be permanent, will keep an eye on it

That's some pretty impressive metal removal, considering your clearance!
Wonder what would have happened with a stock stamped steel front D44 cover?
Probably would have peeled back like a banana!
The sound was it some bang and then a crunch when contacts made? on downward slope or what? Any video?
