Somewhere between being sane and insane!
Cool. I'll be placing an order within the next few dayfor a set of
Skink Super Sliders.
I'm also looking at their front and rear bumpers... Or an ARB!
Say, what did you pay for your front bumper?
They sell here in B.C.,Canada for around $1300.00.

(Cheers)

I got my ARB in '04 before the steel prices got to out of control, plus I bought alot of stuff at once, and being in the military go me another discount so I paid only $600 for my ARB from 4wheelparts(but bought about $9000 parts at once so they tend to give some good discounts).+ the '02-'04 ARB's are cheaper than the '05-'07's for some reason, but I see you have a '04 anyways.

I'm not sure if I understand correctly or not, but I just wanted to clarify - the OEM "rock rails" which I have and I believe we are talking about, are not suitable for use as a step - they are tucked in under.

Yes, you're right. What I was supposed to get were side steps from a 02 renegade that had been taken off to replace with something more gooder.

I am interested in maybe get some rock rails but I dont like the price...250 seems like a lot considering I have yet to do anything serious off road. I wasn't aware that Mopar made a set and maybe I read wrong but it someone said they are around 100.00 dollars which seems very reasonable to me. Can someone provide me with a link to them?

Just reading this thread got me thinking again. I was supposed to trade a member here for a set of OEM rails (I've already held up my side of that bargain), but he hasnt come thru with his. It happens, and I'm not upset about it, but I'm going to have to do something soon with this.

My elder daughter has Cerebral Palsy and is having difficulty getting in the KJ herself. I need to find a free or near-free set of take-offs for my '02. Maybe like KeswickDave I can get lucky and find someone locally? :)

Where do you live? I would think shipping wouldnt be more then 25 dollars. They look like the ones on keswick's jeep, its post number 16 in this thread. Mine are near new, most have some tar etc they would come off, but no paint missing, not rusty etc. Send me a pm if you're interested.
