Rock Sliders

I have been lurking but I thought I would join and post, because I have been looking at rock sliders for several weeks.
If you order the RRO ones, you'll probably wait 3 months for them and they won't even fit. I know because I ordered their control arms and...oof. I'll save a hate-post for them for another day.
I found a place called XO Fab and they sell weld-on kits in different lengths. They have both pre-welded and DIY kits. I haven't ordered yet because I am saving up for them, but the DIY ones are $250 for 60 inch and the welded ones are $380. Only like a hundred bucks more than the aluminum bolt-on ones I was about to settle on. Hope that helps.

That's what I did. He says he's making a list and he will contact everyone before he builds them.

Also, I wouldn't dismiss RRO so fast - there is some bad blood going around with some members here so the negativity might be due to that rather than actual poor quality. I would trust their quality, just a bit spendy for me right now.

Havent been around as long as a lot of us regarding RRO
Like my friend who returned parts that did not fit back in 2004 that never received a refund
Or the customer who ordered UCAs for me to install, when they didn't fit , guess whos fault it was ? Mine somehow. This is after installing maybe 18 or 20 sets of JBA
The list goes on, one set of rock rails twisted up like a pretzel when sliding against a small rock, one that my Rock Lizard ones just bounced over only scratching the paint
Rather than actual poor quality ? How about poor customer service ?

I have read bad review after bad review from multiple forums for multiple different vehicles for RRO. Horror stories really. I am definitely not taking a chance with that kind of money. But everyone is free to do what they want.
